  • Fixed-term, full-time role to December 2020
  • Based in our Greenlane, Auckland office
  • Annual salary of $83,025 and five weeks annual leave

The role

Our vision is 'building lives and communities by housing New Zealanders'. To help us achieve this we are currently recruiting an experienced Programme Coordinator to join our Greenlane, Auckland based team. In this role you will organise the information hub for the programme, supporting Programme Managers and providing programme coordination services to the Project Practice team and Enterprise Portfolio Office projects.

You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the interdependencies of projects within the programme, in order to manage the needs, expectations, and at times competing priorities, of a wide variety of high demand stakeholders. You will also be required to mentor Project Coordinators within the programme, coaching and guiding as needed to ensure the needs and requirements of the overall programme are met.

What you'll need to bring:

  • Ideally three to five years' experience working as a Project Coordinator in a high performing team
  • Project management experience or knowledge of project management and project coordination
  • Organisational skills, especially the ability to multi-task and prioritise, often with tight timeframes at both operational and strategic levels
  • Experience providing co-ordination support in a large programme/project environment with a number of team members
  • Experience facilitating workshops in large and complex programme environments
  • Sound understanding of programme and project finance management, writing approval briefs and financial planning
