About this role

This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the General Manager RTS Operations. Your role is to oversee customer engagement within our Research and Technical Services (RTS) business unit. You will inspire and lead a newly established team of Technical Support Managers, responsible for developing and managing our R&D Customer Relationships to generate commercial revenue and for supporting our customers to grow their R&D capabilities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the RTS sales plan and pipe line. You will bring insight and understanding of market trends in technology and support tailored customer engagement. You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exemplary support and service as they navigate their way in the NZ innovation ecosystem.

You will have significant experience in entrepreneurial, commercial and customer-centric environments. You will have a track record of identifying commercial potential, influencing and delivering outcomes that are innovative and add value to customers. You will have a strong interest in commercialising innovation and helping New Zealand businesses become more successful through innovation.
