What we're looking for We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Business Partner with an OD focus to join our busy HR Team. This role would suit a seasoned HR professional capable of mentoring an enthusiastic HR team, providing the business with high quality HR generalist advice, and leading a programme of work focused on building people capability. This role involves HR business partnering, coaching, and developing frameworks and strategies, so you need to be comfortable switching between operational and strategic priorities, and be willing to role your sleeves up to support the team when required. You will be confident working across all levels of the organisation and able to take the lead on various projects and initiatives. You will need to be confident with systems and supportive of change. You will need to be comfortable being part of a technologically savvy team who are very excited that 2018 saw us successfully complete a full implementation of SAP SuccessFactors (including a Succession/Talent and Development module and a full Learning Management System). So as the Senior HR Business Partner you will help to ensure the systems success, by helping us to embed systems functionality through our people processes. We value your knowledge and experience The role is focused on building organisational capability, mentoring and coaching the wider HR team, and responsible for partnering with a small business group. We are looking for someone who has: * Proven experience of delivering strategic organisational development frameworks and processes * A customer focus with design thinking in mind * Broad HR experience to enable mentoring the team as they manage everything HR related; a varied HR background will be highly regarded * Management experience and/or coaching and mentoring experience * Experience or knowledge of payroll and HR information systems. This might include recruitment, learning management, performance management, succession and talent and remuneration * Knowledge and understanding of machinery of government processes and systems * Excellent written and oral communication skills, and ideally experience in managing and communicating organisational change * Ability to think tactically, understand, identify and manage organisational risk, and identify issues that are likely to be sensitive and develop appropriate strategies to manage them. * Specific experience with SAP SuccessFactors and/or MYOB PayGlobal is desirable but not essential What we can offer you This is a permanent full time position based in our central city offices on Lambton Quay.
