Job Description
Lead role in our advice to Ministers on the performance of the New Zealand health system, with focus on District Health Boards, the entities who are responsible for providing or funding the provision of health services across New Zealand.

An efficient and effective health sector is at the heart of delivering higher living standards and wellbeing for New Zealanders and we have an opportunity for a Senior Analyst/Analyst to join our Health & ACC team.
As a Senior Analyst/Analyst you will have a lead role in our advice to Ministers on the performance of District Health Boards. This involves working alongside the Ministry of Health, corporate centre agencies and senior District Health Board stakeholders. This role will also contribute to policy development related to health system performance management and the role of institutional structures and system settings for the delivery of health services in New Zealand.
About You
An understanding of Health and ACC policy would be an advantage, as would experience in financial and performance analysis. This role would suit someone who understands how to use their communication and influencing skills to get traction and deliver results. The ability to successfully manage relationships well is vital to this role as it is outwardly focused working closely with the Ministry of Health and District Health Boards.
For appointment at the senior level, you will already have a significant breadth and depth of at least 5 years' analytical experience.
