Executive Assistant

The purpose of the role

As the Executive Assistant to General Manager Collection Operations you will play an integral part in ensuring that our group is delivering on our goals of sourcing data from government, business and households.  

You'll be the core support for your General Manager, triaging and prioritising their workload and bringing control and organisation to their day. If you're already an Executive Assistant at this level, you'll have a good understanding of what this role will entail day-to-day, you could be doing any of the following.  

  • Email and diary management, including travel arrangements
  • Meeting preparation and minutes
  • Exercising sound judgement and making decisions
  • Document preparation and admisistration duties
  • Tracking work programmes and business plans
  • Event Management 
  • Governance secretiariat
  • Business projects and tasks

Experience and skills required

Proven EA or PA experience is required along with excellent organisational, self-management and communication skills—both written and verbal. In addition to this, you will need:

  • A warm, friendly manner and an ability to maintain a consistently high level of performance in various situations
  • A strong personality, yet still be part of the team
  • Natural problem solving ability and enjoy finding solutions
  • To enjoy working collaboratively and connecting with colleagues across wider business groups to get things done
  • To be confident and exercise sound judgement to keep things moving without your manager to ensure deadlines are met.
