Job Description

  • Full-time, permanent role (until June 2020)
  • Based in our Auckland Regional Office
  • Annual salary of $185,269plus fiveweeks' annual leave

The role

Our vision is 'building lives and communities by housing New Zealanders.' To help us achieve this, we are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to provide direction and coaching to staff across our newly-established Building Consent Authority.

A priority of this role will be to gain and maintain IANZ accreditation and registration as a Building Consent Authority; creating and maintaining appropriate processes, systems and people capability will be integral to this.

What you'll need to bring:

  • An established background in construction management or a building regulatory role, including experience in quality assurance in these environments
  • Demonstrated practical management, leadership skills and people skills
  • Knowledge and experience of business administration, systems, processes and financial management
  • Environmental awareness and appreciation of potential impacts of relevant trends and legislation
