Date: 11-Jun-2019

Location: Wellington, NZ

Company: Oranga Tamariki

Senior Change Manager

About the role:

As one of our Senior Change Managers you will role model a human centred approach to change management, always considering integration, continuous improvement and change capability build opportunities.

Working with our Change PMO you will contribute to evolving the change management framework, lifting change capability and understanding across the organisation, and mentoring and developing other members of the team.

Working with projects you'll advocate for people – knowing that the outcomes Oranga Tamariki need to deliver for our children and young people will be through people (internal and external).  As such, you'll need to develop fit for purpose change strategies and delivery plans that maximise employee adoption, minimise resistance and disruption – and of course you'll support turning those plans into action!
We have a lot of important work to do, so we want people who:
•    Have lead and have strong hands-on change delivery experience using a range of methodologies including non IT Lean Start-up/Lean UX, Agile and Waterfall
•    Thrive on working with others to solve complex challenges - particularly across complex and diverse business units and locations
•    Have superior communication and delivery skills enabling you to influence and establish credibility with stakeholders
•    Can  operate effectively in ambiguous situations whilst prioritising work under pressure
•    Want to work with us to “ensure that all tamariki are living with loving whānau and in communities where oranga tamariki can be realised”

About us:
Oranga Tamariki—Ministry For Children works to advance the wellbeing and positive long-term outcomes of children and young people.   In everything we do, the wellbeing and best-interests of children are paramount.  The voices of children and young people underpin the design and operation of our services.
