About the Role     

We are seeking a Technical Coordinator to join our Approvals & Appointments team within the Regulations & Assurance Branch.  The focus of this position is to provide IT administrative support, and assist with the Business Systems for the Performance Oversight, & Approvals Directorate. This successful candidate will also be trained to assist in the processing and assessment of applications under the ACVM Act, Animal Products Act, the Wine Act, and the Food Act.  

In the role, you will also:

  • Provide technical & administrative support and advice
  • Develop and implement appropriate support systems
  • Monitor delivery against relevant policies and standards
  • Support priority events or specific pieces of work

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you need to be agile, adaptable and quick to pick up things.  We need you to have a can do attitude, self-motivated and be a team player, be strong on systems and processes and have great written and oral skills.  Attention to detail, ability to plan and meet deadlines is a must.

The following is preferable:

  • Have experience in SAP Crystal reporting
  • Have an understanding of supporting systems & the ability to pull data from these
  • Have experience in administration, personnel, accounting support functions & quality systems
  • Some experience using SQL
