Customer Service Officer

Police Infringement Bureau

Wellington

Permanent, Full Time

Salary Range $47,726.00 - $64,570.00

Multiple Positions Available

The Police Infringement Bureau (PIB) contributes to the effort to reduce death and serious injury on our roads under the umbrella of the National Road Policing Centre. It is part of the National Operations Group whose purpose is to deliver 'Our Business' through coordinated national services.

 

We are building a team of customer service focussed individuals who have an excellent phone manner and pride themselves on delivering excellence.

 

This role will involve taking calls from the New Zealand public for matters relating to infringement notices processed by New Zealand Police. So, as the call taker, you will need to represent the New Zealand Police and work to solve the call in a timely and professional manner.

 

On any given day, you could deal with up to 100 calls. Your job will be to provide advice and confidence to our customers, as well as solve their queries. Due to the nature of some of the calls, you may deal with difficult situations and will need to be composed and resilient, in order to provide the most appropriate solution.
