The New Zealand Intelligence Community is a community of government agencies working together to build a safer and more prosperous New Zealand. The People and Capability (P&C) team in the Intelligence Community Shared Services are now looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior HR Improvements Coordinator to join their busy team.

In this role you will be focussed on continual business improvement and supporting the effective functioning of the P&C team.  You will lead the Operations and Improvements team's business improvement programme and support improvement initiatives led by other teams within P&C as required.

To be successful in the role you will:

  • be experienced in using information management systems in a business processing context
  • have the ability to understand technical terms and translate them into plain language
  • be able  to build and influence relationships at all levels
  • be super organised and able to juggle multiple priorities within a complex working environment
  • be self-motivated, adaptable, innovative and adept at problem solving both independently and in a team environment
  • operate well under pressure while delivering high-quality outputs.

 

Drawing on your administration experience and strong customer focus, you will oversee and support the functions of the HR Coordinator team to ensure that the P&C team is well supported.

Salary from $58,500 - $87,750 per annum

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold NZ Permanent Residence or hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.

You must be able to obtain and maintain a high level security clearance. Ordinarily to obtain this level of clearance candidates must have a 15 year checkable background in countries where meaningful and reliable checks can be undertaken. Where requisite checks are unable to be made, the candidate application may not be able to be progressed.
