Job Description

  • Connect with internal customers to assist with their SharePoint / Office 365 information questions 
  • Enable pragmatic solutions 
  • 6-month fixed term opportunity ideally based in Wellington 

 

About the role: 

Inland Revenue (IR) is currently part way through a major transformation; we're exploring better ways of working and connectedness as we make our internal and external world straight-forward and easy to navigate. 

 

This newly created role sits within our Outcomes, Information & Knowledge group, and has a broad internal reach. 

 

This is where you come in. 

You'll work with the Information & Knowledge Management (IKM) team and our internal customers to understand their SharePoint Online / Office 365 needs, asking the right questions so you can explore options and deliver a pragmatic outcome. 

 

SharePoint Online / Office 365 is a relatively new tool for us, so you'll be taking the initiative in making connections, building team capability, and ensuring delivery. 

 

What we're looking to see from you: 

  • Previous experience in delivering simple, effective and practical IKM outcomes
  • The ability to build professional relationships
  • A solid understanding of Office 365 and SharePoint Online, and how to apply these within a large and complex environment 
  • Comfort in asking questions and exploring options.  You know where pain points can lie and what is needed to mitigate these  
  • Curiosity and a genuine passion for what you do. You're adaptable in your approach and are able to simply convey complex ideas
