Type: Fixed Term - to 30 June 2020
Hours: Full time
Location: Wellington
Business Group: Archives New Zealand
Branch: Information and Knowledge Services
Salary: $67,210-$90,931

Archives New Zealand sits within the Information and Knowledge Services branch. Our branch is all about culture and heritage: collecting, storing and preserving important things that are precious to New Zealand.

If you are interested in being involved in the preservation of New Zealand s film heritage history, and would enjoy leading a small team of technical experts we have an exciting role for you.

The Archives NZ Preservation Film Lab project preserves cinematic film through making new master copies on modern film stock, and we need the right person to keep the project on track.  The Team Leader s role is to actively manage and monitor the production and quality of the team s outputs, ensure good documentation is kept and manage logistics and budget.

We would like to see these qualities in you:

  • logistical or operational management
  • successfully leading people to achieve targets
  • a good communicator and relationship manager
  • an excellent problem solver who is able to quickly understand complex information and systems

If you want a job where the work you do matters to New Zealand, we would like to hear from you.
