Job Description

We need a Senior Analyst to join our operational policy team in the fast moving Digital Monitoring programme. This programme is rolling out electronic reporting into our commercial fishing sector. We can offer a fixed term or secondment opportunity until 30 June 2021.

About the Role:

You will assist with work on the development and implementation of various digital monitoring technologies and the regulatory system they are used in. You will be responsible for undertaking in depth analysis to inform requirements, advice and recommendations. This role will also be involved in internal and external stakeholder engagement to support implementation and practice change and will take on other pieces of work across the programme, as required.

You must excel at operating in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment, have comfort with ambiguity, be an excellent and innovative problem-solver, and be prepared to go to the extra mile to meet required timeframes. Knowledge of fisheries systems and practices is highly desirable.

Bring your relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant relevant work experience along with your attention to detail and your enjoyment of working in a fast moving, busy environment where no two days are the same.
