This is an exciting Wellington based IT Coordinator position where you will be providing training, information and support to our staff on the best use of our meeting room and desktop technology.  Additionally, you will be performing general IT administration duties that are required in a busy IT Operations team such as managing the flow of Statement of Work, invoices, and assisting with reporting.

This role has a strong customer focus, therefore it is important that you have a passion for helping others, be highly organised and have previous administration and coordination experience. You will also need to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to present information to groups of staff. An interest in Technology, with experience in standard Microsoft Office products and Video Conferencing technology will be advantageous here.

With a unique role working in the IT Operations team and across LINZ staff base, your focused and duties will include: 

  • Training LINZ staff on the use of Skype for Business, meeting room and desktop technology
  • Contributing and delivering training plans for Skype for Business to new and existing staff within LINZ
  • Reviewing online documentation, help guides and intranet content
  • Administer the processes that engage our IT suppliers on our smaller ‘statement of works'
  • Set up and manage new suppliers and current monthly BAU invoices in our Contract Management System
  • Assist with IT Operations reporting as required
  • Act as a backup when required to our ISD Coordinator
  • Identifying the needs or expectations of customers by displaying an exceptional customer service attitude with all staff interactions.
