As a Team Assistant (TA) it is your responsibility to provide exemplary administrative and coordination support to leaders and their teams to keep them running at full speed which allows them to fully focus on producing their outputs in order to achieve the Treasury's desired outcomes.

This TA role is situated in the Corporate and Shared Services (CSS) directorate of the Treasury and provides a high level of shared support to the Chief People Officer and the Chief Financial Officer. This is a key support role and would suit a talented and enthusiastic TA who thrives in a busy and dynamic environment, has lots of initiative and the ability to work at pace and prioritise effectively.

The Role:

  • Assist with emails, inbox and diary management & prepare day packs
  • Prepare daily meeting schedules, coordinate meetings and liaise with stakeholders
  • Coordinate and distribute relevant meeting papers and take minutes when required
  • Develop and format a range of correspondence including Official Information Acts and Treasury Reports
  • Prepare and draft correspondence and or documents (including presentations) as required
  • Lead or assist with event management for the team, including meetings and conferences
  • Maintain and update reports, information and process documents
  • Proactively provide assistance with all required business administration processes including the mundane

You are someone who is always one step ahead, you make sound decisions and know how to ensure things run smoothly for the leaders you support. You will be known for your delivery and your ability to adapt quickly to change and manage multiple shifting priorities. Our leaders and team will appreciate your initiative, your can-do attitude and your ability to take a task and run with it. This is a forward facing role where you will interact and build relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • A strong customer focus, excellent communication/interpersonal skills and someone who enjoys building great relationships
  • Self-led style, organised, efficient with a knack for asking the right questions
  • Always on top of your game with an ability to think on your feet and just figure things out
  • The ability to multi task, reprioritise and react to issues that arise during the day whilst keeping calm and professional
  • Friendly, approachable team player who enjoys working collaboratively

  • Strong desire for continued learning with a desire to stretch your administrative capabilities
  • High level of emotional maturity and professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion
