About us

Education Infrastructure Service (EIS), a part of the Ministry of Education, creates and supports safe, healthy, inspiring and ICT enabled learning environments. EIS manages the Crown's second largest property portfolio of around 2,500 schools with a book value of $17.8 billion, is responsible for the largest payroll in the country, and transports over 100,000 students to and from school each day.

About the role

The main focus of this role is to develop, implement and oversee training and staff development programmes in Infrastructure Delivery and across the wider EIS group.  This includes development, delivery and oversight of training materials and trainers to ensure effective delivery, moderation, national consistency and continuous improvement of service quality and performance.

About you

Our people and stakeholders are distributed nationally and we need our learning design and capability support to reflect that.  You will have experience in training programme development, delivery/oversight, and growing people capability and will understand and have experience with adult education learning principles, training needs analysis, course design, content development, delivery and evaluation.
