An exciting opportunity to join our EPMO (Enterprise Portfolio Management Office) professional team.

The purpose of the EPMO team is to provide centralised function that supports investment management, portfolio governance, best practice guidance, tools and templates for the successful delivery of change into the business.

This role is responsible for owning, embedding and continuously improving the change management framework at the Department. This includes providing strategic advice and support to the EPMO Director and the following committees (Investment Committee, Portfolio Performance Committee, Portfolio Governance Committees). This role also includes educating project and programme managers in best practice change management, ensuring relevant tools and techniques are applied effectively to help deliver successful change.

To be successful in this role you will have knowledge, skills and experience in the following areas:

  • At least 5+ years' experience working with large complex business and change programmes/projects.
  • Strong understanding and experience with change management frameworks, tools and techniques including senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools to support a large number of Programmes and Projects.
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Effective ability to facilitate and implement capability & knowledge transfer to others.
