Job Description

We are seeking an outstanding Production and Workflow Co-ordinator to become part of our Creative Services team. Someone who has a passion for creativity and design, but above all, someone who has a great love for New Zealand.

The Creative Services Team works on a huge range of projects, no one day will be the same. You will be the key link between our team and the wider Department, our customers. Maintaining relationships, understanding customers' needs and ensuring all work is fit-for-purpose will be your mission. Your top of mind issues will be:

  • Ensuring our customers are happy
  • Workflow through the team is efficient and the right stuff is getting done
  • The team is happy and focused on work

Desired skills and experience:

  • past or current role(s) in the creative industry
  • several years' experience in a creative account management role or similar
  • hands-on experience managing large projects with multiple deliverables
  • exceptional planning and time management skills
  • a love of design and creativity
  • a high level of communication skills
  • a proven ability to build strong relationships
  • an acute attention to detail
  • ability to solve any problem thrown your way
  • ability to multitask and prioritise tasks, in a sometimes high pressure environment
  • experience in print production
  • experience with the Adobe Creative suite (particularly InDesign) is a bonus

Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.

Please apply online via the DOC Careers Centre.  Applications must include a cover letter, CV and evidence of the required capabilities as per the role description.
