  • Full-time fixed-term or secondment role until February 2021

  • Annual Salary of $71,750 plus five weeks annual leave and a suite of insurances

About Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities, brings together the three existing agencies of Housing New Zealand, HLC and KiwiBuild to form a new organisation.

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is central to the Government's aspirations for housing and urban development. It will work across the housing spectrum to build thriving communities where everyone has a place to call home.

This new organisation will have two key roles - being a public housing landlord, and partnering with the development community, iwi, local and central government to deliver urban development projects of all sizes.

The anticipated start date for this new organisation is 1 October 2019.

The role

Housing New Zealand's vision is 'Building lives and communities by housing New Zealanders'. To help achieve this, we require a Business Intelligence Delivery Co-ordinator who will be responsible for co-ordinating tasks for the Business Intelligence team and prioritising the work as directed by appropriate stakeholders. In this role you will also be responsible for working with our business groups and Business Intelligence developers as well as others within our IT delivery teams to help them deliver successful projects. In this role you will also take an active part in the monitoring and reporting of project progress, and will be expected to escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholders for action.

What you'll need to bring:

  • Has prior experience working in an administration or coordinator role and experience working in an ICT solutions environment would be an advantage
  • Ability to work well with technical staff and record information accurately
  • Strong organisational skills, especially the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Experience working in a project environment
  • Proven ability to analyse information, produce written reports and presentation material
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintaining general ledger would be an advantage
  • Ability to work across the business and effectively communicate with a variety of staff
  • Understands confidentiality and knows when it is appropriate to share and not to share information
