File Management Support Officer

Southern District File Management Centre, Dunedin

Permanent, Full Time

Salary Range $51,123.00 - $69,167.00

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Southern District File Management Centre for a File Management Support Officer.  This role provides customer focused administrative support across the Southern District to Police and the wider community and contributes to building and maintaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. The role involves data entry, typing, processing and movement of files and delivery of excellent customer service to our people within Police and the community. The role requires the use of Police and generic computer programmes. It is also a team based role in an open plan office involving rostered shifts including weekends. Training will be provided to the successful applicant.

 

Skills:

  • Enter, update and report on high volume files and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate excellence in customer service
  • Prioritise work flows
  • Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
  • Prepare correspondence for internal and external agencies

 

Experience:

  • A thorough knowledge and application of computer based records
  • File management and Microsoft office systems
  • Proficiency in data entry and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to complete audio typing and transcription tasks
