Ministerial and Secretariat Services (MaSS) provides travel, visit and event organisation, secretariat and support services of exceptional quality that enable Ministers and other participants in New Zealand's system of Executive Government to carry out their functions.

Reporting to the Manager Ministerial Resourcing and working collaboratively within a great team, this role presents an outstanding opportunity to serve New Zealand's Executive Government in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Supporting a dedicated portfolio of Ministers and their offices, Portfolio Managers act as the primary point of contact for Ministerial Office staff on all resourcing related matters; including staffing and entitlements.

This is a key leadership role, and we are looking for an experienced charismatic leader who is committed to motivating, inspiring, and developing their people. To be successful you will need to have a good understanding of the Beehive complex and have exceptional judgement, high EQ, and outstanding influencing and communication skills.
