Job Description

The National Party Leader's Office has an opportunity for a House Advisor to work in our Parliamentary Research and House Strategy team.

This interesting and important role will provide advice to our 55 MPs in National's Caucus by providing a range of professional, timely, accurate, and high-quality political services, advice, research and support.

As our House Advisor you'll provide the National Party Caucus with useful information relating to House activities in their portfolio areas. This includes writing briefing notes, talking points, key message information, and research.

Relationship skills are critical to the success of this role where you be providing support material for MPs in House as required, support caucus committee meetings and other members of the National Leaders Office as required.

You will have a strong work ethic with experience in working in political environment. You will have credibility and high personal and professional standards.

This is a busy, full-time role, so skills in prioritising competing demands are essential. Some flexibility in hours will be required.

This is an events-based, fixed-term role.
