  • Work with front-end and back-end technologies supporting NZ Post's digital solutions.
  • Based in either Highbrook or Parnell (but you'll need flexibility to work across both locations)

New Zealand Post has a rich history and a bright future as we position ourselves to be the #1 delivery partner for e-commerce. We have an awesome in-house Digital team who design, develop and continuously improve digital products and services for our customers. This is a great time to join us and be part of the team creating stunning responsive websites, apps and digital retail interfaces.

As a Digital Developer, you'll develop new digital experiences to enable NZ Post to deliver what are customers care about. You'll be a pivotal member of a Scrum team, designing, building, deploying and supporting NZ Post's digital solutions while collaborating with other developers and team members to inform technical design and code development.  You'll actively seek out opportunities to leverage enterprise technologies for simplification and continuous improvement and have proactive involvement in the end-to-end lifecycle of digital features including design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.

Key to your success in this role is your broad and proven development experience working with front-end and back-end technologies, particularly Java. You'll be an expert in digital development best practice and experienced in the use of code versioning tools and continuous integration/delivery environments. Ideally, you'll have Agile certification, however experience successfully contributing to development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment is essential.

In return, you'll have the opportunity to work with like-minded, talented and creative people in an Agile/Scrum environment with a shared passion for creating memorable digital experiences. This role has the option of being based in our Highbrook or Parnell office, but you'll need flexibility to work across both locations on occasion.
