Job Description

Permanent - Full Time

Te Papa stands proud as an iconic national building housing the treasures of the nation and is a vibrant destination for both national and international visitors.

Te Papa is looking for a versatile and highly energised individual to provide executive support to two of our executives, the Chief Finance & Operations Officer and the Director Strategy & Performance.

You will be an EA experienced in executive support with a high level of judgement, initiative, and resilience to work well in our sometimes complex and demanding environment.  You'll know how to prioritise your workload and you'll have great relationship management skills, as providing the best support to your directors will require you to work productively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your excellent office management skills plus intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office packages will assist you when managing and preparing correspondence, taking
quality minutes for executive level meetings, and preparing other relevant material as required by the Directors.  A high level of competence in diary management is essential, as is your strong work discipline.

To be successful in this role you will need an outgoing, confident personality and a highly professional presentation. You will be able to apply a high level of discretion to your work and have the maturity and understanding of the various levels and types of relationships that exist in Te Papa's mix of government and business environments. A strong team ethic, can-do approach and an unflappable attitude are pre-requisites.

Be part of a great team in an iconic organisation that delivers awesome experiences to thousands of people every day!

All applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.  Closing date 25 September 2019.
