Fixed Term Contract, Three - Six Months (Permanent Progression Available)

Salary Range $54,582 - $73,844

The New Zealand Police Executive Services team is looking for a positive and highly motivated Executive Assistant to join their dynamic, high performing team. There's no employer like the New Zealand Police, and we have an exciting and diverse opportunity for the right person.


You will work in partnership with individuals, communities, businesses and other public sector agencies to achieve our vision of having the trust and confidence of all. On a day to day basic you will support members of our Senior Leadership Team or Executive Leadership Board.

As a collective unit of over 12,000 individuals we serve the people of New Zealand 24 hours a day, every day. We actively engage in educational outreaches across schools, rehabilitation facilities, training centres, and community events reaching all ages from 0 years to 100 years. We take over 860,000 emergency calls a year from New Zealanders needing aide, we facilitate services for our Pacific neighbours such as Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, and we commit to a frontline service that is public focused to ensure all New Zealanders trust us with their safety.

We're looking for outstanding candidates who:

  • Have a proven track record of providing executive level support
  • Display a high degree of professionalism, respect, integrity and initiative
  • Have a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and independency in planning tasks
  • An ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Proven ability to liaise and communicate with a range of key stakeholders at all levels
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have MS Office skills and computer skills

Special Requirements:
