Job Description

  • Ensure work standards are user centric for our people
  • Identify areas where standardisation will enable a consistent and clear process across WorkSafe Operations
  • Two year fixed-term opportunity in Wellington CBD

Our Operational Excellence group are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to re-design and review a range of key regulatory internal work standards for WorkSafe NZ.

Our inspectors have a range of regulatory tools that enable them to effectively engage, educate and where necessary, enforce.  The Delivery Lead will scope what's needed to review and capture the tools and resources our inspectors currently rely on when making regulatory decisions.

From there, the Delivery Lead will identify where standardised processes are possible and create the documentation hierarchy and user friendly format to support this. The standardising of some critical processes will then support the creation of design requirements for a new case management system.

This role will see you liaise and engage with the business in many formats, from informal conversations and job shadowing, to presentations and workshops.

To be successful in this role, you'll have experience across knowledge management, document hierarchies, and adult learning principles.

You'll also bring:

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence
  • Experience creating and embedding a standard document hierarchy
  • Exposure to a range of project methodologies and tools
  • The ability to think outside the square and review approaches where roadblocks are met
  • Experience leading a significant number of contractor resources

This is a high priority project for WorkSafe NZ, and you'll have support from the business to enable your success.
