About the role - what's in it for me?

Clinical Records is looking for a reliable, positive, dynamic person to join our team working predominantly day shifts on weekdays, but the ability to cover rostered shifts when required. Upon starting you will receive comprehensive training to support your development.

The Clinical Records service operates - 8am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday.

This fast paced role has a strong focus on records and information management including paper patient records, use of electronic systems and interactions with health professionals both internal and external to the Southern DHB.

About you

You will have a proven ability to deal with confidential/sensitive information, strong communication skills (oral and written) and be a reliable and enthusiastic team player with the ability to multitask.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following:

  • Good level of physical fitness
  • Strong attention to detail at all times
  • A positive, can-do/problem solving attitude
  • Relevant administrative work experience
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology would be a bonus

The salary for this position is between $40K and $47K per annum and will be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
