We're looking for three qualified, registered, and experienced Social Workers who wants to make a difference by putting children and young people at the heart of everything they do.

Our team of social workers are a tight knit group who work closely together, and share our Oranga Tamariki values.  We are looking for you to come and help us deliver better outcomes for tamariki and rangatahi.  As part of our team you will spend your day meeting with children and young people, listening to what they have to say, completing assessments of need, formulating intervention plans, participating in hui-a-whānau, family group conferences and partnering with other agencies, community groups and iwi to improve outcomes.

We can offer you:

  • On-going training, regular supervision to support you in achieving your personal and professional goals and annual fees paid for your SWRB/ANZASW membership
  • Colleagues who are united in their commitment to the highest standards of strengths-based social work
  • A place of work in the stunningly beautiful Central Otago/Queenstown-Lakes area, one of the fastest growing regions in NZ.

To be successful in this rewarding position, you will need:
