Health sector opportunity to extend your Project Management skills - fixed term opportunity.

Hutt Valley District Health Board is looking for a project manager to drive key projects across the organisation and wider Hutt Valley health system, which includes Hutt Hospital services, primary and community care, and other DHBs. Our organisation is committed to delivering new innovation and service initiatives that will make a positive difference to health care and the health of our population, and make the best use of limited resources.

You will be responsible for the planning and management of one or more innovation and service improvement projects. 

To be successful in this role you must be a project manager who can oversee work streams across organisations and stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, problem-solving, written communication and interpersonal skills, and work well in an ever changing landscape. 

Experience in the New Zealand health sector and working within the complexity and challenges of this environment is ideal. Project/management training is essential.

This is a fantastic health sector opportunity to extend your project management skills and experience and contribute to new and innovative health services for the population. We are not looking for ICT specialists but rather those who have a clinical background or a wider healthcare understanding.

Our role is fixed term for 12 months however there maybe the opportunity to extend at the end of this period.
