Analyst Reporting - Wellington

Permanent, full time

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Analyst who thrives on customer interactions, or, you might be an existing employee with valuable organisational knowledge looking for you next career move! 
As an Analyst, you will provide reporting on a range of requests including: I Requests, Parliamentary questions, OIA's, Media requests, Requests from the business. 

About the role; 

To be successful in this role you will bring exceptional data and analysis skills, strong business acumen, reporting and monitoring skills as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
You pride yourself on your interpersonal skills and you enjoy building a strong narrative from data and understand the role it plays in achieving goals. 


You will be able to;

-    Extract, validate, format and analyse information and data. 
-    Always be thinking about the customers needs and ensuring the data you provide is informative, concise and effective. 
-    Have meaningful conversations with stakeholders to gain a solid understanding of their needs. 
-    Analyse large complex data and turn it into informative reports which can be used to make informed decisions.
-    Provide high quality analysis, advice and recommendations to ensure the best level of service is achieved. 


About you;
-    Experienced in investigating and analysing problems and reaching sound conclusions.
-    Demonstrated ability to manipulate data and generate high quality reports.
-    In depth experience in analysis of data sources.
-    Have a customer centric working style and always strive to achieve excellent outcomes. 
-    Have a good understanding of statistical methods, visual business intelligence principles, and have an interest in telling a story through data analysis.
-    Excellent communication skills and an ability to use varied messaging channels to convey your conclusions to different audiences.
-    Have a high standard of competency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. (An understanding of SAS Enterprise Guide, R or the Adobe Creative Cloud suite would be an advantage.)
