What you will do

Join our high performing innovative PMO office where you will support the Portfolio Manager and Specialists. As Portfolio Analyst, you‘ll ensure the quality and integrity of portfolio performance data is well managed throughout analysis and reporting procedures, as well as: 

  • Assist with research;
  • Prepare reports and presentations;
  • Operational activities such as data aggregation and analysis;
  • Portfolio dashboard report construction;
  • Provide tactical and permanent solutions for managing portfolio data.

 This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that is looking at new ways to deliver on a large investment programme working with industry partners.  
What we need

We are looking for the ideal person to enhance our wider ‘Estate Performance' team. You will be a motivated and proactive person with following skills and experience:

  • Broad spectrum portfolio and programme analyst experience;
  • A professional and effective communication style both written and verbal;
  • Builds influential relationships;
  • Experience working within large complex business change portfolios, programmes and projects;
  • A qualification in Project Management such as P30 Certification, PRINCE2 or MSP;
  • Planview experience is desirable.

Please note: Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (NZ) and be able to obtain and maintain the required level of NZ Government security clearance for the position applied for. The minimum citizenship and residency criteria for security clearances to be granted by the NZ Defence Force are as follows:

Higher level Security Clearance

  • most preferably a NZ citizen who has resided continuously in this country for the last 10 years, OR
  • is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last 10 years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, UK or the USA; and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZSIS towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at a higher level.

If you do not meet these minimum criteria, we will not be able to accept your application.
