The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi

Working with our fun and professional Organisational Development team you will be responsible for developing talent across a range of innovative programmes. On a daily basis you will provide advice, guidance and development to a dynamic and diverse group of emerging professionals.

In this role you will get to lead, develop and manage our different talent programmes and engage with stakeholders across the Agency and government and build relationships with tertiary institutions and professional bodies.

We are looking for someone who enjoys bringing a programme together and who will thrive on supporting young professionals. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of our programme's management and iterative development and you will work closely with programme mentors, leaders and our Learning and Development team in the design of ‘best fit' rotations that meet both business and participant requirements.

Your excellent communication skills, ability to influence and successfully build and manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders will be the key to your success.

About you | Ko wai koe

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in the management and development of a work programme
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to develop trust and rapport quickly
  • Highly developed communication skills, particularly presentation skills
  • Developed coaching and mentoring skills, ability to provide guidance/support
  • Sound understanding of organisational development and/or human resources
  • Prior experience devising and coordinating learning and development initiatives
  • A creative approach to communication plans including digital/social channels
  • Collaborative working style, sound time management and organisational skills
