Job Description

Here at Inland Revenue (IR) we are well advanced into a multi-year business transformation which will modernise our entire operation. As a customer-centric organisation, IR's goal is to give customers the best possible experience when using the NZ tax system. This is resulting in significant changes to how we operate and engage with customers, and the way that our people undertake their work.

We're looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our Commercial and Procurement team on a fixed term contract to June 2020.

You might have an interest in law or commerce, customer service or continuous improvement; or be looking for an opportunity to get your foot in the door. Whichever it is, we're looking for an optimist, an innovator, a thinker; someone with an eye for simplifying the complex, drawing the insights from the data and telling the story.

Our Contracts Administrator is responsible for information management for our contracts, including capturing key details in our systems and maintaining that information. The role ensures that our Commercial team have the information they need to manage key contracts and guide the business. The role also prepares contract variations and renewals for signing.

The Contracts Administrator is also responsible for key tasks in our Partner Management Framework, including preparing monthly and quarterly partner scorecards, reporting and survey reports. The role looks for opportunities to simplify and streamline business process to enable the Commercial team to do what they do best.

To be successful in this role you'll need to be technically savvy, and quick to learn and adopt new ways of working (including the use of tools such as Office 365, MaritzCX, Oracle Fusion Purchasing Cloud). You'll also need excellent attention to detail and accuracy, be methodical and organised, and calm under pressure. You'll need to be comfortable coordinating and communicating with our key internal and external stakeholders, including our executive leadership team.

If this sounds like an opportunity you'd like to be a part of, please apply online, attaching a copy of your CV and a covering letter outlining the skills and experience you will bring to this position. For further information please see the attached Job Expectation (JE1249) or contact Marie Davis, Recruitment Advisor on 04 890 6303.
