Job Description

Quality, Service Improvement role supporting patient safety and improvement across our organisation - 0.6FTE, 2 year fixed term contract.  

About the Role 

Our Quality, Service Improvement and Innovation Team plays a central role in supporting patient safety and improvement across the District Health Board.  

In this role you will be working as a member of the Quality, Service Improvement and Innovation group (QSII), supporting the Women's and Children's service.  

You will be responsible for developing quality improvement and risk management capabilities as well as coaching, teaching and supporting staff to undertake a range of patient safety and quality improvement activities. 

The role will see you interacting with a wide range of management and clinical personnel across our hospital, so you will need to be an excellent communicator and approach your work with a positive, methodical and detail oriented manner. 

Qualification and Experience

Ideally you will have a relevant health qualification, or have experience working in health services, and have a good understanding of quality and service improvement.
