Job Description

Recruitment Adviser

Permanent - Full Time

Are you looking for a new opportunity with our hugely diverse and dynamic organisation? Are you driven, energetic and goal orientated?

Then this could be your next role!

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role:

The Recruitment and Sourcing team at the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) are looking for a recruitment professional to join their hard working, award winning team.

The team provide a customer centric recruitment experience for hiring managers and candidates. The Recruitment Advisers take end to end ownership partnering with hiring managers to develop and manage the recruitment/selection process.

In this role you will have ownership of a portfolio(s) of customers with the responsibility of providing a high level of customer service. The role will provide you with an opportunity to develop into areas such as direct sourcing and social media. Were all about personal development so there will be opportunities to have input into larger work programmes and specific business/team related projects.

You will be working in collaboration with colleagues in this dynamic environment alongside the wider Human Resources team. We work hard to deliver services that enable us to achieve against MPI's strategic and operational goals. The team has recently been awarded an MPI Supreme Award for excellence in service.

Mōu - About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have a recruitment background and it would be beneficial if you have Government experience or understanding, however this is not essential. What's more important to us is that you're experienced within the recruitment industry and have the knowledge of recruitment processes with a strong focus on customer service ethics.

With exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills you'll be comfortable managing diverse internal and external relationships. Naturally curious, you're ahead of the game when it comes to finding pools of hard to source candidates and manage your workload with a project mentality.

A quick learner, you are not phased by the prospect of grasping and taking on a new portfolio or business area; quickly understanding how they function alongside their specific recruitment needs.  Ideally you will be comfortable using recruitment tools or have experience using other recruitment systems.

This is a fast paced and exciting team to work in so you'll need to bring your energetic and positive attitude.
