Learning and Development are seeking an additional Senior Learning and Development Facilitator to support our expanding initial learning pathways, Pou Hapori Iho (Probation Officer Initial Learning Pathway), Pou Arahi Iho (Case Management Initial Learning Pathway) and Pou Aho Rei (Combined Probation and Case Management High Risk Pathway), whilst also facilitating other residential programmes including Aratikata, a combined induction and orientation programme for all frontline staff.

 

The experiential learning pathways are a workplace based learning model where learners engage with Senior L&D Facilitators via a learning platform. We are looking for a passionate and self-directed person who can support the learning through:

 

  • Leading experiential based learning supported by portable live classes
  • Participating and moderating learner ‘TALK channels' (in the form of online blogs)
  • Grading individual assessment submissions from learners for each module
  • Reviewing and responding to learning tasks as appropriate
  • Working in collaboration with line managers to compliment work based and on line learning.

The role is responsible for providing high quality facilitation. A demonstrated knowledge of Probation or Case Management practice (or equivalent) is a core requirement for this position, as is a demonstrated knowledge of facilitation.

The position is based with the National learning Centre , which is located in Upper Hutt, Wellington, and reports to the Principal Learning and Development Advisor.

The salary range for this role is $75,829 - $107,052. Appointment will be based on skills and experience relevant to the role.
