Health Services is responsible for the delivery of high quality primary health care services to people in prison that meet New Zealand Health sector standards and legislation. A key focus is on reducing disparities in health status in the prison population and achieving integrated care.

You will be joining a team who is passionate about improving mental health services for some of New Zealand's most vulnerable. You will be making a key contribution to the development and integration of efficient and effective systems, policies and processes to support the delivery of mental health services by frontline staff and contracted providers.

You will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Contract and Procurement Management
  • Comprehensive stakeholder and relationship management capability
  • Experience working in a service development role
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communications
  • Understanding of the mental health sector
