We need digitally- and user-savvy people to act as change agents to drive change and capability improvement with and for agencies.

As part of the Agency Partnerships and Capability group, you will work alongside other specialist consultants to give advice and guidance to agencies so they employ user-centred techniques to design the overall experience of a service for customers.

You will have a key role in ensuring the standards, information, online tools and website content used by agencies are designed around the needs of their customers. You will make best use of service design expertise and capability to help agencies redesign services from a customer perspective, and then empower and enable those agencies to manage the process and own the outcomes themselves.

We want someone who has:

  • service designer experience, plus practical experience applying user-design techniques to new services, products and functions
  • creative, fresh and visual thinking to generate ideas and bring about customer-centred outcomes
  • experience applying conceptual and lateral thinking to identify key issues and address problems from unique and innovative angles
  • skills in leading sessions to think through situations, problems or processes, and identify core issues, patterns or trends
  • an understanding of contemporary service design frameworks and techniques
  • a sound knowledge of and experience in design, agile management and innovation methodologies, including the scoping of work, design research, ideation and prototyping, user testing, and evaluation

You know what it takes to make digital information easier to find, access and use, and you know how to pull together information deficits and requirements from users and consultants to improve guidance and standards. You also know how to engage effectively with stakeholders and bring about positive change.

If this sounds like you and you re ready to take on a stimulating and worthwhile role in a great organisation, we d love to hear from you. Apply now!
