Are you passionate about business intelligence? Do you understand the power of effective analytics and can you lead a team to harness it effectively for digital government?

We are seeking an experienced business intelligence manager to lead the design, development, implementation and production of forward-looking, predictive, real-time, model-based insights to create value and drive effective decision-making across the Branch, for agencies and across the system. 

You will have extensive professional and management capabilities in managing a business intelligence or analytics function, plus experience of organisational deployment of business intelligence solutions, including people, process and technology factors.

You will be able to lead and engage a team of dedicated professionals who share the same passion for business intelligence, and you will bring your strategic thinking, your system-wide perspective and your extensive data management understanding and experience to the team, the senior leadership and stakeholder table.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong understanding of data gathering, advanced analytics and business intelligence methodologies and techniques
  • Extensive knowledge of business analysis and information management practices and protocols
  • Good understanding of statistical techniques and analysis

You will also have exceptional relationship management and communication skills, and be able to explain complex issues clearly and easily, particularly to influence internal and external stakeholders on the value of a data-driven approach.
