Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Advisor to join our Relationship Support (Business & Content) team. This in-demand team of nine know how to get work done and have fun. The team works across the customer-facing and internal teams to provide our colleagues with the advice and information they need to succeed. As well as working on complex matters, the Principal Advisor plays a leadership role in the team through mentoring staff and acting as Team Manager when necessary.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Leading the development and provision of information to support our relationship teams to engage with diverse groups of stakeholders on strategic initiatives and priorities, delivery and performance.
  • Develop and mentor team members, particularly in the development of written skills, relationship building, critical thinking and political acuity.
  • Play a critical role in TEC's funding and investment processes.
  • Champion the role of the team in achieving our strategic and operational objectives.
  • Work across the business, building networks, collaborating and influencing to get the job done. 
  • Act as Team Manager when necessary.
  • Review and respond to Ministerial items.
