This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and details focused person to join the Business and Commercial Performance team. The team is creating efficiencies, automating our financial systems and improving the quality of financial data so our leaders can make great decisions.

You will work closely with an experienced Senior Systems Accountant, who will help hone your financial system skills as LINZ transforms its financial systems.

You will be joining a highly engaged team who work collaboratively to continuously lift performance across the business. In joining our team you'll need a positive and proactive approach, enjoy problem solving, and have great attention to detail.

Our ideal candidate will bring:

  • Financial systems experience at an administrator level
  • Experience with Technology One would be desirable
  • A knowledge of systems processes, and an understanding of business operations is desirable
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • Previous experience providing coaching and mentoring

 

At Land Information New Zealand (LINZ), our key role is to ensure New Zealanders have accurate information about where people and places are, that people have confidence in their property rights and that Crown property is well managed for future generations.

Our responsibilities include managing land titles, geodetic and cadastral survey systems, topographic information, hydrographic information, managing Crown property and supporting government decision making around foreign ownership.
