About the role:

NZQA is looking for a Senior Digital Advisor to join our Organisational Performance & Customer Insights (OP&CI) Team in the Strategic and Corporate Service Division.

The key purpose of this role is to provide high quality expertise in the management and improvement of the NZQA website and other relevant online channels (including staff intranet) to ensure the best possible customer experience is being provided via these channels. This is a role that has a balanced mix of core service delivery as well as leading/ participating in digital transformation projects.

Skills & Experience:

If you have some or all of the below:

  • User Experience (Ux) and web design/ website administration experience
  • Experience in using Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Experience working with colleagues and customers, to identify opportunities for improving online customer experience
  • The ability to champion user needs and the effective use of digital throughout NZQA
  • Up-to-date knowledge of latest digital standards, trends, techniques and technologies and able to identify how these can be leveraged to improve efficiency, quality and consistency
  • Experience monitoring and reporting on the performance of digital content and identifying improvements to digital experience
  • The ability to coach and mentor staff to scope, create, edit and maintain accurate, timely, high quality, customer-focused, digital content
  • Experience performing quality assurance – making sure all content published to websites and digital platforms aligns with appropriate standards, policies, principles and guidelines, including NZ government web standards
  • A focus on continual improvement
