Job Description

We are looking for a Portfolio Manager – Climate Change to join the Climate Change and Environment Unit (the Unit), Sustainable Development Sector and Thematic Division (DST), Pacific and Development Group (PDG).

The Unit leads on climate change and environment development issues in the Pacific and beyond and is responsible for the delivery of the Climate Change Programme – a NZ$150 million dollar programme of support focused on boosting the Pacific's resilience to climate change.

This senior position will be responsible for providing high-quality analysis and financial advice to the Unit to support the effective delivery of the Climate Change Programme. We seek a person with significant portfolio management experience, strong strategic and business planning skills, excellent financial management and forecasting skills who is adept at navigating complex information management systems. You will have strong political acumen, relationship management, partnering and communication skills, and proven experience in engaging and influencing leaders, teams and partners.  International development cooperation experience is an advantage.
