Job Description

We are sadly saying farewell to our trusted Coordinator within our Health, Safety and Wellbeing team at Parliamentary Service and this has created an opportunity for a hardworking, experienced coordinator or administrator to join our team.

You will be an instrumental part of our passionate team in helping to create an environment where our people feel safe, healthy and supported. This is a very exciting time within the Health and Safety team at Parliamentary Service with a large health and safety framework currently being delivered along with many other fully supported projects to develop and implement.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing proactive administrative support to the Delivery team, with direction from the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager
  • Assisting with the maintenance and development of the Health Safety Management system (Vault) and wellbeing initiatives, policies and procedures as required
  • Supporting health, safety and wellbeing projects by actively contributing to workshops
  • Keeping the team advised of best practice health, safety and wellbeing activities by researching and exploring best practice and external standards
  • Coordinating training sessions and workshops for the delivery team

What you will bring to the role:

  • A passion and invested interest in employee wellbeing
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate confidently and clearly to a range of audiences
  • Experience in working with an incident and risk management reporting system

Ideally you will be studying towards or have obtained a Health and Safety related qualification Diploma or above or have previous experience in a health and safety role.
