Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems Controller (RPAS Controller) with the Massey University School of Aviation - Te Kura Rererangi. This is a two-year fixed-term position.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing the RPAS business for the School and leadership of the School's team of RPAS Instructors to deliver RPAS training to clients.

Candidates should have a business and aviation background with pilot qualifications and instructional experience. RPAS experience is an advantage, but, successful candidates will be required to achieve the necessary RPAS pilot and flight examiner qualifications and operator certification to enable them to meet the key accountabilities.

The successful candidate will initially be required to undertake flight operations support duties in support of the School's fixed-wing flight training operations while working to become fully qualified to meet the required RPAS qualifications.
