Job Description

Our National Recruitment Team is vibrant, energised and professional. We're known for the great service we provide to the business and for bringing great people into our Whanau. Our Coordination team is the powerhouse of our centralised recruitment function, managing all candidate applications through our streamlined process.

No two days are the same in this busy and dynamic role where you'll ensure our candidates are well supported and engaged through a variety of assessment stages. Across both our Frontline and Specialist functions, you'll be on the phones and emailing to keep candidates informed and excited about starting a great career with us.

On any given day you could be:

  • Advertising vacancies
  • Screening a candidate's eligibility for a role at Corrections
  • Booking candidates in for interviews or assessment centres
  • Liaising with applicants regarding the progress of their application
  • Managing and updating our on-line system
  • Responding to general enquiries from internal and external customers
  • Travelling to help facilitate assessment centres around the country
  • Completing pre-employment checking (drug testing, criminal conviction checking, reference checking)

And the list goes on!

You'll thrive in this environment if you have

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS office, and the ability to quickly learn in-house packages
  • Initiative, flexibility and a ‘can do' attitude
  • Experience providing efficient administration support, preferably within a HR or recruitment environment
  • The ability to establish credible relationships with candidates and hiring managers
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

You'll be joining a large team of Coordinators and Administrators supporting a team of experienced Recruitment Advisers.
