Reporting to the Secretary and Chief Executive, and as member of the Treasury's Executive Leadership Team you will provide organisation-wide leadership, as well as represent the Treasury in New Zealand and internationally.

You will be responsible for strategic leadership of the Treasury's work programmes that ensure effective debt management, provision of financial and commercial advice to government, monitoring and advice on the Crown's ownership interests and management of the Crown's balance sheet.  You will work collaboratively with your senior leadership colleagues to develop strategy, drive the development of key strategic work programmes, and to build relationships with key stakeholders to address challenges and opportunities facing New Zealand.
