Job Description

Due to the recent exciting organisational changes, we have a secondment opportunity starting early 2020 through to the end of April 2020 for the Manager Contracted Rehabilitation Programmes role that sits within the Psychology and Programmes team under the DCE Māori.

The purpose of this role is to oversee the procurement, implementation and quality assurance of contracted rehabilitative services, ensuring that the supporting business solutions meet operational needs.

As part of our Hōkai Rangi, Ara Poutama Aoteraroa strategy the Manager Contracted Rehabilitation Programmes will directly contribute to our commitment to do better for Māori in our care. It is important that you demonstrate of strong desire to incorporate cultural responsiveness to your work.

The manager will lead a team that provides specialist advice and expertise across the Department in key offender rehabilitation activities including effective alcohol and drug interventions, family violence and parenting programmes.   

If you have demonstrated experience in leading procurement, service design and development of frameworks, and experience in the area of rehabilitation of people in our care and effective interventions – we would love to hear from you.
