We are seeking a self-motivated, adaptable and skilled business improvement specialist to join our Service Improvement team. 

About Service Improvement:

The purpose of Service Improvement is to provide high quality continuous business improvement to the Operations and Service Delivery group within the Ministry of Justice.  We use Business Analysis, Continuous Improvement, Change Management, Service Design and Project Management methodologies to design and deliver effective solutions. 

About the role

For this Senior-level position, you will demonstrate an ability to lead pieces of work and be able to develop the technical capability of others.  You will be enthusiastic, eager to learn, and a team player who positively contributes to our great team culture.

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience in delivering operational excellence through successful application of business improvement and analysis methodologies.
  • Ability to analyse and derive insights from complex data sets.
  • Experience and understanding of design, improvement and change methodologies, tools and approaches including business process mapping.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering solutions.
  • A demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across and within organisations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to mentor and coach staff to develop technical capability.
  • Effective project management experience, including the ability to define a business problem and plan and deliver a solution.
