Service Centre Manager - Kapiti/Otaki

Permanent, Fulltime


We are looking for an enthusiastic people leader to become a member of the Central Leadership Team at Work and Income.


You will be at the helm of one of our busy service centres and be an innovative and inspirational leader.  Your focus will be embedding an outcomes-focussed culture, where transactions are -completed on-line, over the telephone or face to face, allowing our site-based Case Managers to move people closer to work and independence and connect them with jobs.


The role of the Service Centre Manager is to provide effective leadership and efficient management of services that contribute to individual, family and community independence.


Your leadership will ensure the service centre performs professionally, effectively and efficiently, and in a way that constructively supports people into employment.


You will be a proven change leader (at a strategic and operational level) as you will be responsible for leading the successful implementation Regional and National initiatives that achieve our goals.

Service excellence will resonate strongly with you, and you will play a key leadership role in an integrated services response, fostering an environment where social service agencies work together to achieve positive change in the lives of people, their families/whānau and their communities through the timely and seamless delivery of “client centred” services.
